We just confirmed with the Halsey’s Karen Ann Myers that Shepard Fairey, the street artist behind Andre the Giant Has a Posse and the Obama “Hope” poster, and painter and printmaker Jasper Johns will be the featured artists for the Halsey Institute’s 30th anniversary show. Both artists grew up in South Carolina, Fairey in Charleston and Johns in Allendale and Columbia.
