After a 12-year run, the Neighborhood Dining Group (Husk, McCrady’s) has shuttered Queen Anne’s Revenge, its Daniel Island pirate-themed restaurant. Wednesday was its last night.

Operating partner David Howard tells us it was a real estate decision not a restaurant decision that led them to close QAR.

The transaction to sell the restaurant is in its final stages, and Howard was not at liberty to tell us any details beyond that there will be another restaurant going into that space.

NDG is currently relocating some employees to Husk while others are being interviewed by the new owners for the new restaurant.

Howard says the biggest challenge right now is to relocate all of those authentic pirate artifacts from QAR.
