Last Sunday, Vickery’s on Shem Creek suffered a small kitchen fire at 1 a.m. and have been closed all week to clean and repair the damage.
The small kitchen fire was swiftly extinguished thanks to the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department. Around 35 staff and patrons were evacuated, with no reported injuries.
According to manager Geof Wisdom, they are ready to reopen today at 4 p.m. after getting the all-clear from the fire marshall.
He invites everyone to stop by tonight and celebrate their grand reopening with flame-grilled burgers and Fireball whiskey shots. And enjoy the lovely sunset too.
