Cops are looking for a yellow box truck that supposedly broke the brand new 1960 Kress lunch counter sit-in historic marker on King Street and drove away. [P&C]
Charleston law enforcement officials continue to work to extradite Dusten Brown, the biological father of Baby Veronica. A requesition order signed by Gov. Nikki Haley is set to arrive at Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin’s office today. The whereabouts of Veronica remain unknown at this point. [P&C, Live 5]
Conservative Upstate Senator Lee Bright will announce today that he will join the Republican primary to challenge U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, becoming the third challenger for Graham, who already faced compeition from businessman Richard Cash and marketing firm owner Nancy Mace. [AP]

Lowcountry Local First will open the city’s first official co-working space on the property at 1600 Meeting Street, the planned office and arts space on upper Meeting Street. LLF says the office is planned to open in Q1 2014. [CRBJ]
