You probably already know by now that Sean Brock of Husk and McCrady’s will be a featured personality on the second season of Anthony Bourdain’s and David Chang’s James Beard Award-winning Mind of a Chef series on PBS.
Brock has been busy filming his episodes, which will alternate between him and Chef April Bloomfield, and we hear Kimberly Carroll of Kimberly’s Crabs will be getting some serious love in an upcoming episode. She’s pretty excited about it.
“I was very honored to have Sean Brock pick me,” she told us earlier today. “We spent several hours shooting on my boat.” The Mt. Pleasant crabber supplies crabs to Husk, The Ordinary, FIG, and McCrady’s among others. She says that Brock and the film crew spent time on her boat with her catching blues, soft shells, and stone crabs. We hope she ends up with some serious prime time coverage from this.
Dates for the season have not yet been set, but you can check here for updates.
