Willie Nelson injured his shoulder and will not be playing at Nashville’s Southern Ground Food and Music Festival this weekend, according to the AP. Nelson has cancelled three other concerts in Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan as well. However, the 80-year-old legend is still set to play at the Southern Ground Food and Music Fest, Oct 19-20 on Daniel Island (The Red-Headed Stranger takes the stage on Sunday).
Willie’s newest album, To All the Girls, an album of duets featuring Dolly Parton, Norah Jones, Brandi Carlile and many others, will debut on Oct. 15, according to Nelson’s website. To All the Girls is the country great’s second collection this year. The first, Let’s Face the Music and Dance, was a collection of jazz standards and selections out of the Great American Songbook.
