Get ready to let the Edisto Island Bluegrass Festival on the scenic Point of Pines Plantation take you on a majestic ride to roots music bliss, thanks to a pretty stellar lineup: Charleston’s favorite husband-and-wife duo Shovels and Rope, Lonesome River Band, and Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen.

All the proceeds from the festival will go towards the Edisto Island Preservation Alliance, which works to conserve Edisto’s wildlife and ecosystems. Marian Brailsford of the Edisto Island Bluegrass Fest says, “Our festival-goers can expect to have a great time relaxing, enjoying the spectacular scenery along the North Edisto River, while listening to exciting music, dancing, and enjoying true Lowcountry delicacies.”

The festival takes place this Sat. Oct. 26 at the Scenic Point of Pines Plantation and runs from 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Tickets are $30. For more information, visit edistoislandbluegrass.com.
