[image-1]Brewvival tickets went on sale Nov. 29 and co-producer Scott Shor of the Charleston Beer Exchange tells us they’ve already sold about half of the 1,800 available tickets.

The Southeast’s premier beer event (we don’t feel weird calling it that, because that’s what it is) is slated for Feb. 22. 2014. “We’ll definitely have more breweries than ever before,” says Shor. A lot of that has to do with the explosion in South Carolina breweries. “We’ve pretty much invited every officially licensed brewery in the state,” says Shor.

New breweries participating include Frothy Beard and Freehouse Brewery  from Charleston and Quest Brewery in Greenville. “We think Brewery 85 [of Greenville] will be online in time too,” says Shor.

“The recipe is the same as ever,” he adds. “We’re not expanding the size, so it should be great with all the additional breweries.”

Shor says they are in the midst of confirming some cool surprise guests and will be releasing details in the next week or so. In the meantime, don’t wait to get your tickets, which are $65 and can be purchased online or in person at the Charleston Beer Exchange, the Greenville Beer Exchange, and at COAST Brewing Co. in North Charleston.
