Despite the worst of the worst of winter storm Leon long-past Charleston, area schools, agencies, roadways, and offices remain affected by weather-related delays and closures Thursday.
Among them, Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester District Two school districts will remain closed on Thursday. College of Charleston and the Citadel have already announced that they will open at noon Thursday.
State highway officials and local law enforcement continue to monitor area bridges, with the Don Holt bridge recently reopening after being closed most of the day, isolating much of the East Cooper area. The Ravenel Bridge remains closed to both car and foot traffic.
