Local girl, Elise Testone, brought the funk last night celebrating the release of her new album, “In This Life.” With her Janice Joplin get-up and Jimi Hendrix swagger, Testone looked happy and comfortable in her hometown with local friendly faces backing her on stage.
The former American Idol contestant gave a shout-out to her family, thanked a friend for her hand-made leather belt, and invited her students on stage. There is no doubt she appreciates her roots. The dream catchers on stage were a beautiful touch.
