No matter how you feel about Instagram and its faux vintage photographs, there’s no denying that the app sure does make for some pretty pictures. If you’ve ever wondered what those pictures would look like in real life — that is, not on your phone — you can stop by the Real Estate Gallery this month to check out the city’s very first InstaGallery, a curated collection of Charleston Instagrams.

The photos are the work — or the clicks — of 12 Lowcountry Instagrammers whose pictures were chosen by Mark Swick (@mnswick) and Paul Dunker (@pauldunker) from a pool of thousands. You can see a sampling of the photos at @CHSInstaGallery.

The show will run from March 12-April 22, with an artist reception on March 22 from 5-8 p.m.
