With the Cooper River Bridge Run coming to town, Charleston police have announced that all bicycles must be removed from bike corrals along the race route on King Street. Any bicycles left in the corrals after 2 a.m. on Sat. April 5 will be removed and stored at Charleston Police Department headquarters on Lockwood Drive, and owners will have to pay a $45 fee to retrieve them.

The announcement does not apply to the bike corral at King and Cannon streets because it is not in the path of the race.
