Hard to believe but French institution Gaulart & Maliclet (Fast & French) is turning the big 3-0. That’s three decades of Kir Royales, bouchuron salads, and chicken du jours. Sun. May 4 is the date and in honor of the anniversary they’re holding a celebration. Fast & French was just given the OK from the city to use the space behind the cafe, so everyone is invited to pop by 98 Broad Street from 3-6 p.m. to join the festivities which will include live music, a roasting of chickens and a pig, as well as a figurative roast of original owners Gwylene Gallimard and Jean-Marie Mauclet. Sounds like the perfect party for the little cafe that could.
