Back in February, Tristan restaurant announced that it would be closing. Today they report that this Sat. April 12 will be the final night of service. The restaurant has been open for the past nine years, with chef Nate Whiting at the helm since 2010. Luckily for Charleston, Whiting, the unsung hero of the fine dining establishment, isn’t going away. A new restaurant is planned for 492 King St. under Anita Zucker’s Relish Restaurant Group and is expected to open late summer/early fall.

Whiting says, “We will miss Tristan and our loyal customers, but we are thrilled to look forward to the future with an exciting new concept and location.”
