Heirloom Bookshop has an amazing courtyard. We’ve often wished we could borrow the tiny, flower-filled oasis, if only for an hour or two to sip rosé and pretend we’re cocktailing in a hidden patio in Rome. Now, for the cost of a $45 ticket, we can. Plus, watch a movie.

May 18-June 1 Heirloom is hosting an alfresco film series. Tickets are limited to just 12 seats for this intimate affair and the film line-up and chef pairings include the following:

May 18th | Eat Drink Man Woman with Xiao Bao Biscuit
May 22nd | Julie & Julia with Glass Onion
May 25th | Tampopo with Two Boroughs Larder
May 29th | The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie with Daniel Heinz from McCrady’s
June 1st | Big Night with FIG

Heirloom owner Carlye Dougherty says the event is a way to enjoy the courtyard now that the weather is nice. “We just like to do fun out of the box things and we’re friends with all of those chefs,” she says.
