It may be time to throw out those old, raggedy pajamas you’ve been holding onto for years. But don’t worry, local designer Amanda Greeley, who founded sleepwear line Tink + Tiger, has PJs you can feel good about wearing — even in public.

You can catch the celebration of her summer A Midsummer’s Night Dream collection on Wed. June 18 from 5 to 8 p.m at Greeley’s home on 24 Queen St. This will be Greeley’s second collection for loungewear — her first debuted in Dec. 2013. “The first collection was more of a trial run. There’s more to see and to choose from. There’s more colors and more silhouettes. It’s a more complete collection,” Greeley says.

The line features borrowed from-the-boys silhouettes that still have a feminine touch. She’ll have rompers, shorts, button-downs, slip dresses, and more all made out of fabrics such as silk charmeuse as well as cotton. The designs showcase a cohesive blend of color with navy, light blue, white, green, and others. Greeley’s designs are often simple with a color block of two or more colors together. But a few designs have patterns that include elephants and stripes.

Her favorite piece from the collection? The silk shorts. “I wear those all the time. I wear them out all of the time,” Greeley says.
