Palmetto Brewing is working with Tampa Brewers Rock Brothers and Cigar City to present beer drinkers with a new brew: Hootie’s Homegrown Ale. The brewery describes the ’90s rock-band-inspired drink as a refreshing, light, but complex craft beer made with Carolina Gold rice and lemongrass. The brew launches in Chucktown at Hootie & the Blowfish’s annual Homegrown Festival that runs August 8 and 9 at Family Circle Stadium.
