Super Nova Drift from Summerville SC, came together in the summer of 2012. The band concept was developed by the then husband/wife team of Patrick and Traci Collins who were both in Some Ambulance.
After relocating to Charleston, the band was formed when L. Brown Odyssey bassist Khalid Smalls began to practice with Patrick and Traci. Jesse Mosel joins the band from time to time to add backing vocals. Later, Keyboardist Julia Howell was added showed up to practices to hang out. Guitarist Zach Lowe joined the band after 5 months of practice before Patrick finally realized he could really play.
Right now we are working on playing out more our schedules have opened up to allow us to do that, in the past it has prevented us for playing out.
