Apparently some joker thought it would be funny (or somehow profitable?) to steal a lifeguard stand from the Isle of Palms County Park over the weekend. The Charleston County Park & Recreation put this poster up on their Facebook page today kindly asking for the responsible party to return it.
The thing is 8 feet tall and 300 pounds, so we’re guessing it was a team effort, to which we say: Get a hobby, y’all. And don’t mess with lifeguards.
