Local Charleston rockers Heyrocco released another single/video this week off upcoming LP Teenage Movie Soundtrack, and we are here to tell you it’s puh-rit-tee steamy.

The guys have really taken the high-school theme and run with it with “Melt.” You can rest assured that, yes, frontman and guitarist Nathan Jake Merli is referring to premature ejaculation when he sings “I would do anything to last when you undo my belt/ I melt.” The video’s black-and-white clips of old ’50s flicks featuring innocent scenes of kissing teens is a fun contrast to the shenanigans happening in the lyrics.

Admittedly, our favorite line is “Fog out your car and drive around/ Do you have somewhere to be?/ Instead we could keep making out/ to 98 degrees.” That said, it’s actually a kickass tune from a group of guys who have mastered the pop-song formula wonderfully. It’s a catchy one, and we couldn’t be more proud.
