First comes baby, then comes … a seat in the senate? That’s what Thomas Ravenel hopes, and Southern Charm’s cameras will be there to catch it all. The second season of the Bravo reality show started filming earlier this month — coincidentally just as T. Rav really started to kick up his campaign — and it seems like a major plot point will be T. Rav’s run for office.
Case in point? On Wednesday morning, a twitter user tweeted a sign outside of the West Ashley-James Island Business Association meeting at the Riverview Holiday Inn that alerted attendees they could be filmed. See the photo below. Ravenel was scheduled to give a speech at the meeting.
Now we’re really hoping John McCain accepts T. Rav’s debate offer — and agrees to be filmed for the show. It could be the most entertaining political season since Tina Fey donned a bouffant and an Alaskan accent.
The show does not have a scheduled air date as of yet.
