Spring Street is the new King Street. There, we said it. With the opening of about four new restaurants/event spaces/groceries on the Street in the past few months (Artisan Meat Share, Cannon Green Cafe, Sunrise Bistro, The Veggie Bin, and Tokyo Crepes about to open too), not to mention the veterans holding down the fort, like Xiao Bao Biscuit and WildFlour Pastry, it seems all the cool kids are setting roots on Spring.

Now Bull Street Gourmet and Market is calling the street home. The restaurant — which to newbies confused by the name originally opened on, well, Bull Street (R.I.P.) — has opened a second location. The sandwich and pantry store now has spaces at 120 King Street and 441 Meeting St. (but it’s technically on the Spring Street side) in the Elan Midtown complex

The new shop opened last Thursday and is right across the street from Bi-Lo. Staffers tell us this new space will offer a limited menu based on the flagship store.
