Last time we tried to skate it involved a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle board and some serious skinned knees, but the folks at Continuum Skateshop, Nessi Skateboard Hardware, and BringThat.Beer recently posted a video showing us how it’s really done.

The video follows skaters rolling around town — from the bike lane of the Ravenel Bridge to under the Huger Street bypass and other Lowcountry locales — performing tricks that range from grinds to ollies.

The three-and-a-half minute video is titled BringThat.BEER — Vol 1, and yes that means that there will likely be some follow-ups. Aaron Green, who works at Continuum and was part of the video, says they want to bring attention to the skate culture in Charleston, especially since there isn’t a park for skaters to use.
