The Center for Birds of Prey (CBP) has announced the theme for this year’s photography contest: “Through a Bird’s Eye.” Photographers are encouraged to think about avian vision, which is often a bird’s most acute sense, especially for birds of prey, according to CBP.

The contest is open to both amateurs and professionals, and the deadline for submissions is Jan. 8, 2015. The winner will be recognized on the CBP’s website and receive a canvas print of his or her photograph. The winning image will also be displayed in the CBP tent at the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition.
