Lowcountry Blues Bash founder and local musician for the past three decades, Gary Erwin, a.k.a. Shrimp City Slim, has released a new album Transatlantic Blues Project, which was recorded on tour in Poland with Polish blues band Green Grass in October 2012.
The 12-track disc contains six originals and six covers and is Slim’s 12th album release to date. The bluesman will tour this Spring in and around Bydgoszcz, Poland, which is where Erwin’s grandfather emigrated from in 1911.
