There’s good news for fans of indie-Americana power duo The InLaws: Joel Hamilton and Owen Beverly have plans to record a new record come January. Hamilton (Mechanical River) and Beverly (French Camp) formed the band back in 2009, but when Beverly moved to Brooklyn in 2010, the two naturally began working on new projects. They reunited for a phenomenal performance during the Punks&Snakes album-release show at the Pour House last summer, and it was all-too-clear the magic was still there.

Though still based in New York, Beverly will take time off from his solo work to record the brand-new songs with Hamilton at Charleston’s Ramshackle Studios. A release date for the album is yet-to-be announced.
