Charleston’s favorite A-lister Bill Murray got some Golden Globes love. The actor was nominated for Best Performance thanks to his starring role in St. Vincent, playing Vincent the neighbor and bawdy mentor of a 12-year-old boy, Oliver (Jaeden Lieberher). But that’s not all, Murray also got a nod for his turn in the HBO miniseries Olive Kitteridge, based on the novel of the same name written by Elizabeth Stout. In the four-part series, the actor plays Jack Kennison a snooty Harvard grad and widow, who befriends titular Olive (Frances McDormand), the pessimistic and at times abrasive junior high math teacher who is married to the small town, Maine pharmacist.

The Golden Globes ceremony airs on Jan. 11, 2015 on NBC. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler host the award show, which honors both the TV and film industries.
