Dell’z Deli has closed, but a new location will open in 2015

Did you try to order a Jazzy Pizza today and couldn’t get through to Dell’z Deli? There’s a good reason. The sandwich shop at 1A Cannon St. has closed. The news comes two weeks after the closure of Dell’z sister property, Dell’z Vibez juice bar, due to termite issues.

But owner Maudell Grayson’s daughter Smarel Nicole Brown says the closure of the two storefronts is not the end of the business. “We have a new location opening in 2015,” Brown says. In the meantime, you can get your Jazzy fix at Dell’z Uptown (511 Rutledge Ave.). And beginning Jan. 15, the Uptown location will also start offering breakfast and juices.
