Clocking in at 3,400 square feet of post and beam construction and connected with hand hewn mortise and tenon joinery, and wood pegs, the bower — which is a fancy name for roofed shelter— at Edmund’s Oast is complete. The new space designed by Stumphouse will allow for an additional 100 seats and keep those oft-bearded craft brew lovers cool during summer sipping.

Edmund’s publicist Angel Postell tells us that, pending one final inspection, the bower is expected to open today. But to be sure, check Edmund’s social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. For now, here’s a visual sneak peek. Let the shaded drinking begin.
