Here at City Paper, we’re big fans of shoes — hell, we even wrote a cover story last year all about what some Charlestonians place on the feet. According to CBS’s Live Five DSW will be opening a store in Mt. Pleasant in the third quarter of 2015.  A press release from Grove Property Fund also confirmed the arrival of the shoe seller to the Lowcountry. And our pieds are doing a little happy dance with this news.

The shoe warehouse — it used to be known as Designer Shoe Warehouse — will join the Bowman Place shopping center where the old K-Mart used to be, which is also where Nordstrom Rack is set to open in the fall. Dick’s Sporting Goods and Kitchen & Company will be joining Bowman Places as well.

DSW offers a range of shoes, from brands like Fergalicious to Jimmy Choo, BCBG to Dolce and Gabbana, for men, women, and children. The store also stocks accessories and hosiery.
