There’s nothing we like more than a well-timed pop-up and Proof’s Craig Nelson and Chef BJ Dennis have one in the works. Next Mon. Feb. 16, the two will pair up for Lundi Gras, a pre-Fat Tuesday fête.
Dennis says, “I’m doing red beans and rice, my coconut milk collards, and shrimp étouffée.” Proof will be serving $5 hurricanes, and Quentin Baxter, Charlton Singleton, and crew will be playing New Orleans jazz funk.
The party starts at Proof at 5 p.m. Admission is free and food ranges from $7-$12.
