Still looking for a Valentine’s Day treat for you and yours? Are you really hungry and have a $40 budget? You’re in luck. From now until 6 p.m. tonight, app-based car service Uber will deliver you the makings of a delicious dinner for two for $39.
Just launch the Uber app as you would normally, then toggle the bottom switch to “Date Night” to reveal Uber’s band of roving Cupids. Armed with kits from dinner-on-demand service HelloFresh, they’ll set you up with a recipe and all the fixins for a fancy Valentine’s Day steak dinner: Roasted beet and lentil salad, peppercorn steak with baby potatoes and creamed spinach, and of course, conversation heart candies.
Uber notes that there’s a limited supply of V-Day dinners up for grabs in the participating East Coast cities, and the dinner will be charged to the payment method you have on file.
