Animal shelters and red carpets don’t typically go together, but on Sunday night Pet Helpers will combine the two at their A Night at the Oscars benefit party at Trio (139 Calhoun St.). Glitzy attire is encouraged, as guests will get to walk the red carpet before being treated to a raw bar, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres served throughout the evening. And, of course, the awards show will be projected on screens throughout the downstairs. Upstairs, party-goers can dance to the beats of Quiana Parler and Friends.
Tickets cost $75, and the party kicks off at 7 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Pet Helpers.
