The North Charleston Performing Arts Center announced this morning that The Pixies, an influential indie rock band that made its mark in the late ’80s and ’90s, will perform there Mon. May 11 with special guest John Grant.
Members Black Francis (a.k.a. Frank Black), Joey Santiago, and David Lovering will tour with bassist Paz Lenchain. Lenchain is one of several touring bassists who have taken the place of founding member Kim Deal since her 2013 departure from The Pixies.
Tickets start at $49.50 and go on sale Fri. Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000 and at the North Charleston Coliseum Advance Ticket Office.
