Crafters, hobbyists, and even techno-geeks should check out the Charleston County Public Library Main branch on Calhoun Street this Sat. Feb. 28 for the second annual DIY Festival. The fest runs from 1-4 and will have booths from local DIYers like Girls Rock Charleston (DIY music); Hooks and Toggles (DIY beaded jewelry); The American College of the Building Arts (DIY furniture, blacksmithing, etc.); and Makelab Charleston (DIY everything), among many others.

There will also be lectures on everything from keeping our waterways clean to how to become a digital storyteller and 3D printers. And of course, there will be plenty of crafty activities for the kiddos.

Find out more at the library’s website, ccpl.org, or by calling (843) 805-6930. you can also email diyfest@ccpl.org.
