Creative Spark, the Mt. Pleasant arts organization that was home to an arts-centered preschool, classes for children and teens, and Sprouts Musical Theatre, is shutting its doors at the end of this month. According to the Post & Courier, the decision to close was both a financial one and a response to increased competition from other local arts groups offering similar programming.
While the preschool — which was and is independent of Creative Spark, despite a shared building and similar vision — has already relocated, Sprouts Musical Theatre is still looking for another home.
