Charleston’s favorite ne’er-do-well native son, Thomas Ravenel, recently spoke with the folks at the New York Post about season 2 of “Southern Charm” and his former flame Kathryn Dennis, the mother of his baby girl Kensie.

Although most folks in Charleston have long since known the pair were on the outs, the majority of the show’s fans were probably unaware that the May-Septembers had split or that an alleged assault/impromptu baby baptism landed Ravenel in a police incident report.

The Post reports:

“Having gone through this experience with her, we developed a strong bond,” he says. “[But] it’s been, obviously, a roller coaster ride, [and] this tremendous chemistry between us, that can only sustain a relationship so long.”

Dennis is currently living with her parents, and the two reality stars are sharing parenting duties. After Dennis rejected a proposed custody agreement, Ravenel is currently waiting on her counter-offer.

Regardless of what happens though, Ravenel’s thankful for what his time with the fiery younger woman has created.
“She gave me a small piece of immortality — Kensie,” he says. “I don’t know that any other woman could’ve done that for me.”

Speaking of “Southern Charm,” Stephanie Barna will be return with much-loved recaps this coming Tues. March 17.

Sadly, T-Rav won’t be appearing on the cover of this year’s Best of Charleston. Psst … we actually asked. Ha.
