The American College of the Building Arts (ACBA) recently awarded its first full scholarship for city housing residents to Kimberly Crystal Kornickey. A radiology technician, Kornickey will major in plaster working, and plans to eventually open her own construction business.
ACBA’s scholarship was established just one year ago, and is part of the school’s efforts to increase the presence of both women and students of color at the college.
