As Spoleto’s PR manager Jennifer Scott says, Charlie Chaplin is still a popular film star — due to demand, the festival has added an additional showing of Chaplin’s silent masterpiece City Lights, which is being screened with accompaniment by the Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra. The film shows at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at the Sottile Theatre at 44 George St.

And now for the venue changes: Trisha Brown Dance Company (May 29-31) has been moved to the Sottile Theatre to allow for more seats, while the Westminster Choir’s performance of The Little Match Girl’s Passion and Jephte has been moved to the College of Charleston’s Emmett Robinson Theatre at 54 St. Philip St. Keep an eye on this blog for updates — we’ll be posting them as they come.
