Local metal band Marytre will release the track “That Much is Certain” in time for the 98 Rock Battle of the Bands this week.
The four-piece says the “grungy, heavy, and melodic” release also coincides with a video release for the single and is the start to a new album, Chipper.
“We feel this first song we are about to unleash defines the grunge-metal sound we have been tagged with,” drummer David Dietze says.
After dropping a new song every month this year, Chipper should be ready for a Christmastime release.
