*Claps hands* Alright, what’ve ya got for me this weekend, Charleston? We have a hurricane brewing that will probably make it rain just enough to make going to the beach absolutely miserable. The Marion Square farmers market closed, now what? Check out our list below and see what we have in store for you this weekend, rain or shine.

Friday

It’s time to get down on some Greek culture, y’all. The 45th annual Greek Festival is May 8th – 10th from 11 am – 10 pm.

Load up the whole family for Party at the Point. There’s a cash bar and $3 draft beer and food available for purchase — sorry, fluffy and fido have to stay home this time.

Throw on your best flapper dress and head down to the Charleston Performing Arts Center for Charleston, The Musical.

Saturday

Mom’s Run and Family Fun day is going down at Blackbaud Stadium.

Whether you are a real fashionista or just play one on Instagram, you’ll want to check out the last weekend of the Charleston Museum’s Fashion Flashback which covers 5 decades of fashion. Admission is $35/non-members and $25/members.

Sippin’ Saturday’s are here at Irvin-House Vineyards. There will be live music, food, wine, and vodka. I think that hits all the boxes for the checklist for Saturday.

Get your veggie on at the Mixson Farmers Market kick-off. Scoop up some artisanal grub, local music, and local art.

Nobody loves Pat Conroy more than Pat Conroy — he’s joining Catherine Seltzer to talk about Seltzer’s new book (about Conroy) and both will be available for signings.

Ever seen a youth Irish fiddle group? Swing into the Bluerose Cafe for Na Fidleiri season finale at 6:00.

Come out for some bingo, comedy, and BBQ at The Barbeque Joint from 6-8. The event is free and you could win some cool stuff.

Sunday

For a truly spiritual yoga experience check out candle-lit yoga at Seeking Indigo.

Mom’s climb free at Wild Blue Ropes on Mother’s Day. There will also be a food truck present for those who choose to stay on the ground.

Pet Helpers will be at Petco again this Sunday. Pick up a new pal and get ready for Yappy Hour this coming week.

Second Sunday returns for what we’re thinking may be a very wet and windy day.

Bring ’em hungry because kids under 12 eat free at The Joe on Sunday for Charleston County Parks and Rec Commission Kids Club.

Take a ride up to Riverfront Park and check out all 14 sculptures at the 2015/16 Outdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition.
