COAST Brewery; we know ‘em, and we love ‘em. We love them even more for all of the events they hold, and these upcoming June and July events will surely not disappoint.

Don’t have Flag Day plans? Worry not, because COAST, along with several other local breweries, has got you covered — head out to Holy City Brewing for the Flag Day Burger and Beer Festival this Sat. June 13 starting at 12 p.m. for a food and drink overload, benefitting local shelters Pet Helpers and The Charleston Animal Society. Plus, tickets are only $10.

Fives Loaves
, Left Hand Brewery, and COAST Brewery have teamed up to present the Cannon Street Beer Dinner on Sun. June 14 at 6 p.m. Come to kick off summer with a six-course meal and tasty craft beer pairings. Tickets are $50.

Get off the couch and come to F3 Columbia’s CSAUP event The Cottonmouth on Sat. June 27 at 6 p.m. You’ll be burning incredible amounts of calories with this eight to ten mile rugged outdoor obstacle course through the old Charleston Naval Shipyard, eventually ending up at COAST Brewery for beer and food trucks. You earned it. Jaime Tenny, co-owner of COAST says, “It’s not like CrossFit — it’s crazier than that.” PS — this event is free, but you should bring a few bucks to chip in for water along the way, as well as for food and drink at COAST.

In the name of patriotism, COAST will be changing their regular business hours on the Fourth of July and staying open from 11 a.m. till the fireworks end. You’ll get front row seating to some of the best fireworks in the area, and you can also feast on some grub from local food truck Hot Links (others are expected but unconfirmed) at the event, so don’t stress dinner plans. Jaime Tenny says, “It’s a fun place to have some beer, some food, and watch the fireworks. We always keep things simple.” That sounds like a great way to celebrate America to us.

COAST is also bringing in more food trucks this month that include Dashi on Fri. June 12, The Immortal Lobster on Sat. June 13, Hot Links on Thurs. June 25, and Short Grain rounding it out on Sat. June 27.

4-7 today.Welcome new to us Dashi food truck!Fresh Boy King bottles to boot!
