Technical crew members from the upcoming HBO series Vice Principals are setting up equipment at a house on North Boulevard in Park Circle this morning. A member of the crew said filming is expected to start around 2 p.m.

Details are still sparse about the new show co-created by Jody Hill and Danny McBride, a comedic actor best known for playing the boorish badass baseball pitcher Kenny Powers in Eastbound & Down. A crew member this morning said the plot centers around two vice principals who are vying to become the principal at a high school when a third competitor enters the mix.

Oh, and then there’s this: Word has it Will Ferrell and Bill Murray will have, at the very least, cameo roles on the show.

HBO signed a deal for 18 episodes of Vice Principals in May 2014. The series is expected to air starting in 2016.
