Girls Rock Charleston will hold its end-of-camp showcase at Memminger Auditorium (56 Beaufain St.) on Sat. July 18 at 3 p.m.

The lineup will consist of campers who have, in a week, formed 11 bands and three junior counselor bands. The organization prides itself on empowering girls and transgender youth through music education, DIY media, and creative collaboration.

During Girls Rock, campers receive instrument instruction, write songs, and participate in workshops on everything from DJing to social justice history and self-defense.

Tickets for the showcase are $10 and can be purchased at the door. For more information, go to girlsrockcharleston.org.
