If the only cure for this hot-as-Hades week in Charleston is ice cream delivered at a moment’s notice, then we’re in luck. Tomorrow, Uber is once again driving the streets of cities across the world for their fourth annual #UberIceCream.
The premise is just about as simple as it sounds. Starting at 11 a.m. tomorrow, tap open your Uber app, select “Ice Cream,” and summon the (now 100% legal) Uber driver to your front door.
In Charleston, Uber will be delivering King of Pops during this year’s Uber Ice Cream between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. While we’d prefer the Super Mario pop with the gum ball nose, we’ll gladly take a chocolate banana or strawberry lemonade ASAP, please.
(And if you’ve got a Capital One card in your wallet, Uber says you may even be able to get your pops for $0.00!)
