The new Gaillard Center is looking for a few good theater-lovers to act as volunteer ushers for the 2015-16 season, which opens Oct. 22. Ushers will get to sign up for shifts working shows that include Chanticleer, the Grammy Award-winning male vocal ensemble; the Munich Symphony; Bullets Over Broadway; and the National Circus and Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China, just to name a few. To see the full season, visit the Gaillard’s new website.
If you think you’re ready to don that classic usher’s vest and pick up a penlight — and if you meet the requirements of being at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check — email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, email address, phone number, mailing address and any previous experience or special considerations. If you’d prefer, you can also call (843) 242-1410.
