A week after City Paper food critic Allston McCrady’s review of Chick’s Fry House wherein the critic revealed the restaurant’s use of Sysco fries, Chick’s has debuted a fresh-cut version.

We spoke to Chick’s business partner Dave Uecke about the switch and he says, “We’re just trying some different things as we’ve gotten feedback. We’re working through it to see what everybody likes.” The new fries are currently available for $3 for a small and $6 for a large, though Uecke says those prices could change subject to labor adjustments.

Fresh cut fries starting today. Double fried to perfection, come on down and check them out
