Head to the deck of the U.S.S. Yorktown at 7 p.m. to hear from Vietnam war Vets.

Talent Freaks, a free screening at the Music Hall starting at 6 p.m., shows the creative processes of Lowcountry artists. Season 1 screens at 7:30 p.m. and Season 2 screens at 8:30 p.m., with a break in between to view artwork from the featured artists.

Get down with some of today’s funniest dudes, like Cedric the Entertainer and Eddie Griffin, at North Charleston Coliseum’s The Comedy Get Down at 8 p.m.

The Tin Roof hosts TRNTBLSM, a show featuring three DJs who promise to bless both your “ears” and “ass.” Indeed. Show starts at 8:30 p.m.

Here’s what we were teasing you with: the Ballpark Festival of Beers at Joe Riley Stadium from 7-10 p.m. It’s the most bang for your brew we’ve tasted in Charleston so grab a ticket now.

We get so caught up in Thirsty Thursdays at the Joe that we often forget about our local soccer team. Make up for you absence at this 7:30 game at MUSC Health Stadium.

Head to Chico Feo on Folly to hear Goatmilk get funky with live music. And yes, we picked this event because of the band’s name.

While you’re on Folly check out the Cast Off Fishing Tourney from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Folly Beach Fishing Pier.

James Island County Park’s hosts Intermediate Climbing: Climbing 201 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Un-belay-vable.

Take a stand up paddleboard trip for some exercise and get the added benefit of sweet views of egrets and ospreys from 9-11:30 a.m.

Learn more about the Lowcountry’s history — it’s your history too — at this free artist talk about remnants of the rice cultures at the City Gallery at 2 p.m.

We like our men like we like our antiques, acquired at fancy auctions. Money from this charity event at the Visitor Center from 7:30-10 p.m. goes to supporting cultural and economic empowerment for women.

Head to Elliotborough Mini Bar at 11 a.m. to get bendy with Urban Flow Yoga and then booze it up with a free drink, included in the $15 ticket price.

Charleston Ballet Theatre’s open house at Riverside Sports from 3-5 p.m. is the perfect place to encouraging a budding black swan.
