The Vinyl Countdown is coming to downtown Charleston, and it’s only a month away from opening its doors.

Earlier this year, Aaron Levy started an Indiegogo campaign in hopes of launching the Vinyl Countdown, downtown’s only indie record store. Over the past few months, the vision has gone from a dream to reality with Levy revealing last week the shop will open its doors at 724 King St. as soon as October.

Claiming it to be a “four-minute walk from Rec Room,” Levy says the store will feature a vast selection of used and new LPs and 45s, plus some CDs, DVDs, and books about music.
