After being forced by a family court judge, DHEC has amended the birth certificate for the children of Katie and Tracie Bradacs, a married same-sex couple who have fought a three-year legal battle over their marriage to both be recognized as parents of their twins. The Bradacses’ suit was filed after DHEC reportedly refused to make the change when their landmark same-sex marriage case was upheld in 2014. Source: The State
